Carolyn Magnussen

Carolyn is an author, Montessori educator, guide, and advocate for transformative aging. She is an AMI Montessori for Dementia, Disability and Ageing (MDDA) Auxiliary Trainer, dementia activity specialist, co-founder of Montessori Care, creator of Montessori Bridge, an intergenerational program connecting children and older adults, and founder of the Transformative Aging Global Online Summit. With over 30 years of experience in Montessori education, her work is rooted in the philosophy of Aid to Life, promoting independence, dignity, meaningful engagement, and lifelong learning. She is also an award-winning artist, nature lover, mother, and grandmother, passionate about creativity, human connection, and transforming the experience of aging.
